My Psychotherapy Practice

Psychotherapy is for a variety of mental health and personal problems. Psychotherapy goals are insight, resolution of symptoms and problems, achievement of inner peace, as well as healthful life goals. (If insurance is used for reimbursement, a mental health diagnosis is required.)

In my therapy practice, I emphasize insight and may recommend cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused techniques. I might also recommend coaching, meditation, relaxation, acupuncture and other adjunct techniques. I refer to physicians, 12 step programs, and other professionals — and collaborate upon request and with written permission and authorization.

Privacy and confidentiality are major concerns. No information is shared by telephone or in writing or any way without written authorization. A particular consideration is the protection of all records from harmful employment or insurance practices.

I consult with individual adults, couples and groups about:

  • Anxiety, Fears and Phobias

  • Relationships — Love and Family Issues

  • Work and BusinessLoss and Grief

  • Maintaining Health, Wellness and Balance
